In 2009, the president of Sterling International approached Simpson Square about his start-up venture and its need for overall business support, strategy, and contracted marketing services. In 2012, Sterling International sold for more than $20 million—a major success story we’d like to think we played a small role in creating. Our hopes were reaffirmed in 2013 when Sterling’s founder came to us to help him with his new venture, Sterling Capital.
Sterling Capital is an American combat-veteran founded fund. With the belief that energy security is the best measure for saving the lives of U.S. soldiers within OPEC countries, Sterling Capital’s portfolio is focused on the supply services needed to develop markets for domestically produced natural gas.
Our first order of business was creating a new logo. Next: helping Sterling Capital attract investors and establishing the business as a respected leader in its market.
