When BroadBlast was first referred to Simpson Square, they were a small company on the fast track to success. A women-owned business and the only nationally certified reseller of Tier One technology services that meets the stringent criteria of WBENC and WOSB certification as a Woman Owned Business in the incident management, mass messaging, and notification market, BroadBlast was uniquely positioned for success within their market. Their main obstacle: they were receiving less than ten website visitors a month and used other service providers’ materials to define their services.
Simpson Square proposed a new brand and identity platform that would position them for their next level of growth. Initially, we focused on five things:
- A new logo design
- Development of a search-engine friendly website
- Creating a method to obtain leads from Internet searches
- Building a presence on social media channels
- Develop BroadBlast branded marketing materials
BroadBlast now generates more than $1 million in revenue and boasts a client list that includes the State of California, the United Nations, CSX, the centers for Disease Control, and many other institutions, from municipalities, to universities, and corporations. In addition, within a month the website started averaging 25 visitors a day, as well as regular online proposal requests. We also worked with BroadBlast’s owner to enhance the firm’s messaging and refine the proposal template.
